Japan, India to launch FTA talks early next year
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (R) smiles at Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as they wind up a joint press conference at the end of their talks at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Dec. 15. The two leaders agreed that their countries will launch negotiations on a bilateral free trade agreement early in 2007. (Kyodo)
