Japan can achieve budget surplus before FY2011: Omi
TOKYO, Japan - Finance Minister Koji Omi said Dec. 20 that Japan can achieve a budget surplus on a primary balance basis ahead of the government target of fiscal 2011. The Finance Ministry proposed earlier in the day a draft state budget for fiscal 2007 totaling 82,908.8 billion yen. (Kyodo)
