Japan starts 10-year postal privatization process

                  A group of 60 programmers volunteered to create an e-vignette IT system for free during a two-day hackathon over the weekend, completing and putting it into operation tonight, on Sunday, January 26, 2020, which was set in motion by IT entrepreneur Tomas Vondracek (right) who called for a hackathon on LinkedIn and got responses from all over the country.                       The construction cost was not disclosed, but it is estimated to be several percent higher than the usual cost of about 600 million yen. The station will produce hydrogen using city gas from a medium-pressure pipeline. Carbon dioxide (CO2) generated in the process of mining and burning liquefied natural gas (LNG) is offset. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government plans to have more than 100 fuel cell buses in use by the end of this year, and the Toyosu Hydrogen Station will be responsible for supplying hydrogen to the city's fuel cell buses. Takashi Anamizu, vice president of Tokyo Gas, said on the same day that he expects the station's operation rate to increase significantly.
