Car, electronics makers offer wage hikes for 3rd straight year
TOKYO, Japan - Tsuyoshi Takagi, chairman of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation (Rengo), speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on March 12. Most leading Japanese car and electronics makers concluded this year's ''shunto'' spring wage talks with labor unions by offering to raise wages for the third consecutive year.
