Panasonic to turn Sanyo Electric into subsidiary

OSAKA, Japan - Panasonic Corp. President Fumio Otsubo (L) and Sanyo Electric Co. President Seiichiro Sano (R) shake hands during a joint press conference in Osaka on Nov. 7.
