Tsunami-swept shrine gate parts returned from U.S.

Citizens in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, stroke on Oct. 3, 2015, one of the two parts of "torii" shrine gates swept away by the 2011 tsunami and found in the U.S. Pacific coast state of Oregon in 2013. Returned to the northern Japan city earlier in the day, they will be repaired for attachment back to the gates by April 2016. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
