Hiroshima Univ. students dig for A-bombed tiles, debris on riverbed
A group of students from Hiroshima University dig for roof tiles and other debris from the 1945 atomic bombing on the bed of the Motoyasu River, which flows by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial (background), commonly known as the Atomic Bomb Dome, in Hiroshima, western Japan, on April 5, 2015. The day marked the 100th anniversary of the completion of the building, then known as the Hiroshima Prefectural Commercial Exhibition Hall. (Kyodo)
