Collection of Fukushima evacuee's poems gains popularity

Masaharu Fujishima, a Fukushima Prefecture resident forced to evacuate from his home due to the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant disaster, shows pages of his poems written on the back of advertisement flyers at his temporary housing in Minamisoma in the northeastern Japanese prefecture on March 24, 2015. A collection of his poems describing the hardships and thoughts in his daily life as an evacuee was published in August 2014 and has also been translated into English due to its popularity.
