China's 1st qtr GDP growth at 7.0%, slowest since 2009
Sheng Laiyun, spokesman for China's National Bureau of Statistics, announces at a press conference in Beijing on April 15, 2015, that China's economy in the January-March quarter grew 7.0 percent from a year earlier, the weakest expansion since the first quarter of 2009 when the global financial crisis left growth at 6.6 percent.
