Hall opened to support northern Japan region's post-quake recovery

A multipurpose hall stands in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, on July 19, 2015. The facility, which opened on July 24, is dubbed Iwaki PIT ("Power into Tohoku"). It was built by Team Smile, a group founded in 2012 to provide mental support for people in the northeastern Japan region of Tohoku devastated by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster.
