Huge pool cover unveiled for removal of spent nuke fuel in Fukushima

Tokyo Electric Power Co. shows the press on Aug. 7, 2015, a giant cover for use in removing spent nuclear fuel from a water pool at its crippled Fukushima Daiichi power plant. The bulk of the cover is being assembled in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan, ahead of completion at the plant to reduce the workload there and minimize exposure to radiation. ==Kyodo
