New U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan deployed at Yokosuka
The nuclear-powered U.S. aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan approaches its new home port at a U.S. naval base in Yokosuka, southwest of Tokyo on Oct. 1, 2015. The approximately 97,000-ton, 333-meter-long aircraft carrier replaced the George Washington, another carrier of the same Nimitz-class that left Yokosuka in May after a seven-year deployment.
