Archaeologist to look for Egyptian queen Nefertiti's tomb
University of Arizona archaeologist Nicholas Reeves speaks at a press conference in the suburbs of Cairo on Oct. 1, 2015. The Egyptian Antiquities Ministry approved Reeves' research team to use a noninvasive radar gun to examine a potentially unexplored chamber at King Tutankhamun's tomb in search of the resting place of legendary Egyptian queen Nefertiti, regarded as King Tut's mother-in-law. The probe will be conducted in the latter half of November by using radar from Japan. (Kyodo)
