Princess Mako to marry former univ. classmate, possibly next fall

Kei Komuro, Princess Mako's fiance and longtime boyfriend from university days, leaves his home in Yokohama, south of Tokyo on Sept. 3, 2017, to meet the press together with Princess Mako to announce their engagement. Princess Mako, the eldest granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, will marry Komuro, possibly in fall next year, the Imperial Household Agency said the same day.
