Gov't appeals ruling on A-bomb "black rain" victims
Japanese Health, Labor and Welfare Minister Katsunobu Kato meets the press in Tokyo on Aug. 12, 2020, after the government appealed a recent court ruling awarding state health care benefits to people exposed to radioactive "black rain" that fell immediately after the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima outside a zone it currently designates.
