Myanmar's Suu Kyi freed after 7 years' house arrest
YANGON, Myanmar - Myanmar's pro-democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi receives a piece of paper, appearing to be a message for her, from a supporter in front of her home in Yangon on Nov. 13, 2010, as she was released from seven years of house arrest following the expiry of her latest detention term. The 1991 Nobel Peace Prize winner had been under some form of detention for 15 of the past 21 years. (Kyodo)
