TEPCO removes another panel from reactor cover
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken Nov. 10, 2014 from a Kyodo News helicopter shows the No. 1 nuclear reactor building of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi complex in northeastern Japan, after its operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. removed a second panel from the roof of the cover shrouding the building. The removal, conducted on a trial basis, is a first step toward demolishing the cover and eventually removing spent fuel rods stored in a cooling pool in the building. (Kyodo)
