SDF sailors acquitted over fatal destroyer collision

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Maritime Self-Defense Force officers Tomohisa Nagaiwa (R) and Keitaro Ushirogata arrive at the Yokohama District Court in Kanagawa Prefecture on May 11, 2011, for a ruling on a 2008 collision between the MSDF destroyer Atago and the small fishing boat Seitoku Maru off Chiba Prefecture that killed two fishermen. The two men, who were officers of the watch at the time of the accident, were acquitted. (Kyodo)
