Autumn leaves to reach peak in Nikko

TOKYO, Japan - The changing colors of leaves in the Okunikko area in the city of Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, with Mt. Nantai in the background, is shown in a photo taken from a helicopter on Oct. 16, 2010. The fall foliage in the area will reach its peak around Oct. 23, later than usual due to the heat which lasted into September, according to the local tourism office. (Kyodo)
