Sharp's LCD monitor has contrast ratio of 1 mil. to 1

OSAKA, Japan - Sharp Corp. has developed a liquid crystal display monitor that can provide a contrast ratio of 1 million to 1. Sharp said Oct. 3 it will commercialize the new monitor for professional use such as in television broadcasting in fiscal 2006 through March 2007. (Kyodo)
