BASEL, Switzerland - A jewelry-clad Hello Kitty doll debuts at a watch-jewelry trade fair that opened in Basel, Switzerland on March 25. The 15 million yen ''Super Hello Kitty,'' a product of Japan's Sanrio in cooperation with Austria's crystal glass maker Swarovski, is on display at the fair to mark the 35th anniversary of the Japanese company's popular character.       TOKYO, Japan - Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. unveiled a statue of Tokyo Tower made of pure gold at its flagship store in Tokyo's Ginza shopping district on Dec. 3. The 66-centimeter-high statue, which carries a price tag of 50 million yen and was made to commemorate the jeweler's 50th anniversary of business establishment, will be displayed at the store until Dec. 25.           GIFU, Japan - Photo shows a large block of gold bullion claimed to be worth 200 million yen displayed at the Collection of Ohashi in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. According to the police, three of the four men allegedly took the gold block from its display area on the second floor on March 18. The company said Dec. 14 it will produce and sell 10 units valued at 5.5 million yen each for orders through department store operator Isetan Co.'s principal store in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward.                 TOKYO, Japan - A set of silver ''hina'' dolls commemorating the wedding of Princess Sayako on Nov. 15 is displayed at a hotel in Tokyo on Nov. 22. The set consists of two dolls representing an emperor and empress wearing the court dress of the Heian period (794-1185) and three dolls representing court ladies serving the emperor and the empress, sitting on a vermillion-lacquered platform. Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. will sell the ''hina'' dolls at 150,000 yen per set for display at the annual March 3 Doll Festival. (Kyodo)
