China's central bank hints at further interest rate cuts in 2009
BEIJING, China - Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China, speak during a news conference at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on March 6. The central bank said the same day it will continue a moderately relaxed monetary policy in 2009, in comments believed to be hinting at the possibility of further interest rate reductions. (Kyodo)
