Lacquerware artist Shioda dies at 80
KANAZAWA, Japan - Living national treasure and lacquerware artist Keishiro Shioda died of pneumonia at a hospital in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, on Sept. 24, his family said Sept. 25. He was 80. Photo was provided by the Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry. (Kyodo)
