JVC devises technology to make thinner rear-projection TVs

TOKYO, Japan - Victor Co. of Japan Ltd. (JVC) said on Sept. 28 it has developed a technology that can substantially reduce the depth of rear-projection television sets. Displayed at a press conference on the day is a 110-inch rear-projection television incorporating the new technology. (Kyodo)
