Mayor who bit Olympian's gold medal
Nagoya Mayor Takashi Kawamura bows in apology during a press conference in the central Japan city on Aug. 16, 2021, for biting an Olympic softball player's gold medal earlier in the month. Kawamura said he is ready to forfeit three months' pay totaling 1.5 million yen ($13,000).
