Pro-Kurdish Party supporters celebrate Newroz - Ankara
Pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) supporters shout slogans and hold flags during a rally as part of Nowruz (Newroz). A top Turkish prosecutor filed a case with the constitutional court on Wednesday demanding the closure of the pro-Kurdish Peoples Democratic Party (HDP), in the culmination of a years-long clampdown on Turkish Parliaments third largest party. Pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party (HDP) supporters hold a rally as part of Nowruz (Newroz), or Kurdish New Year, in Ankara. Newroz or Nowruz, means "new day", "new year" and "coming of summer" for the communities living in the Middle East.
