STORYLINE:
The second phase of the Palestinian local council elections was held in West Bank on Saturday.
Hanna Nasser, the head of the Palestinian Central Elections Committee, said at a press conference held at the committee's headquarters in Ramallah city, that there is a remarkable turnout for the polls.
He added that although the elections are local, there are a large number of observers monitoring them from inside and outside Palestine.
