STORYLINE:
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) launched on Thursday the vaccination against the Ebola virus in Beni, a city in the northeastern North Kivu province, after a new confirmed case was reported on Monday by the Congolese health authorities.
The vaccination campaign kicked off at the Beni reference hospital, with the "objective to protect frontline workers who will, in turn, vaccinate contacts," according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
