More than 4,000 military personnel and 1,000 civilians participated in the drill, which runs until Sept. 15, state-run Al-Mamlaka TV reported, citing the drill's spokesman Mustafa Al-Hiyari. The drill was set in simulated real-life situations and common security challenges such as terrorism that require unified efforts at the international level. The drill also simulated situations dealing with various threats from weapons of mass destruction, according to the spokesman.
