The positive growth was contributed by all sub-sectors, namely motor vehicles which surged 613.8 percent, retail trade which jumped 37.5 percent, and wholesale trade which grew 20.6 percent, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement. In terms of volume index, wholesale and retail trade registered a growth of 33.7 percent year-on-year to record 142.5 points.
