STORYLINE:
Climate activists marched on Manhattan's Park Avenue on Saturday and gathered in front of the headquarters of financial investment firm BlackRock, urging billionaires and corporations to act on climate change on the 10th anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.
This was the fifth straight day of climate protests in New York City, led by activist groups like New York Communities for Change (NYCC) and Extinction Rebellion.
Protesters urged BlackRock, the world's largest financier of fossil fuels, to refrain from making new fossil-fuel investments and called on the New York state government to adequately fund climate action.
Hurricane Sandy, also known as Superstorm Sandy, was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane seaso
