The tiger cubs were born in July to Royal Bengal Tiger couple Raj and Pori. The cubs were the second litter since the tiger couple were brought to the zoo in December 2016. In 2018, Pori gave birth to Shubhra, the first white tiger in Bangladesh. As one of the rarest species of tiger, the white tiger has the typical black stripes and carries a white or near-white coat.
