Striker Kazuyoshi Miura joins J-League's Kyoto Purple Sanga

KYOTO, Japan - Veteran Japanese soccer striker Kazuyoshi Miura (R) from Croatian first-division club Croatia Zagreb announced Aug. 24 he will join J-League's Kyoto Purple Sanga. Photo shows Miura meeting the press together with Purple Sanga manager Shu Kamo at a Kyoto hotel. Miura has reportedly accepted Kyoto's offer for an annual salary of about 60 million yen.
