American human rights activist encourages Nago citizens
NAGO, Japan - Arun Gandhi (R), an American human rights activist and grandson of India's independence leader Mahatma Gandhi, on Dec. 6 encourages a group of citizens in Nago, northern Okinawa, who are opposing a plan to relocate the heliport functions of the U.S. Marine Corps Futemma Air Station in Ginowan, central Okinawa, to Nago's Henoko district.
