TOKYO, Japan - Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko meet the press at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on May 8 prior to a 13-day trip to four European countries from May 20. The couple will visit the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland.(Pool photo)
