Railway executives apology for train collision+
FUKUI, Japan - Keifuku Electric Railroad Co. executives apologize for a train collision that killed a driver and injured 26 passengers in the town of Matsuoka, Fukui Prefecture, on Dec. 17. The collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. near Shiizakai Station on the main Echizen Line. A train coming down a branch line failed to stop at Higashi-Furuichi Station and continued onto the mainline for about 1 kilometer, railway officials said.
