S. Korean artist to create 2,002 face masks for World Cup

KYOTO, Japan - South Korean artist Kim Myong Hee, surrounded by masks she has made, poses at her atelier in Kyoto on Dec. 26. Kim is shaping her own message to the world ahead of the 2002 World Cup soccer finals, to be jointly hosted by Japan and South Korea, by making 2,002 masks with the faces of living people from both countries.
