New train model introduced on JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan - East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) introduces a new train with more roomy carriages (photo) on its Yamanote Line in central Tokyo on April 21 to reduce congestion. The carriage floors are 15 centimeters wider than in the previous model and full introduction will reduce congestion by 10%.
