Matsui starts training

TOKYO, Japan - Hideki Matsui, who has agreed with the Yankees on a three-year, $21 million deal, arrives at the Yomiuri Giants Ball Park on Dec. 26 to begin training for the next season. The ex-Giants slugger said earlier he will fly to the United States for the signing of his deal with the Yankees after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Japan.
