Thousands take exams for fast-track jobs at Japan Post
TOKYO, Japan - Applicants sit for examinations in Tokyo on May 18 for administrative positions with Japan Post, the state-run corporation that was launched April 1 to overtake mail delivery, postal savings and insurance services from the government. While Japan Post is offering jobs for only 50 slots, more than 15,000 sat for the exams held at 28 locations across the country.
