Japan starts 10-year postal privatization process
TOKYO, Japan - A new signboard appears at a post office in Tokyo's Chuo Ward on Sept. 30 ahead of the start on Oct. 1 of the process of privatizing Japan's state-run postal services. State-backed Japan Post will be reorganized into four firms dealing respectively with banking, insurance, mail-delivery and over-the-counter services under a holding company.
