MAKUHARI, Japan - People line up to test-drive a fuel-cell car at the 37th Tokyo Motor Show which opened to the public Oct. 25 for a 12-day run. About 60 automakers from Japan and 13 other countries are displaying some 600 passenger cars and motorcycles at the show.

                CHIBA, Japan - Car fans marvel at new car models on display at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, which opened to the public on Oct. 27. The show, which runs through Nov. 11, features 542 new models, 77 of them displayed for the first time in the world. Admission fees: 1,300 yen for adults, 600 yen for secondary school students, free for primary school pupils and younger children.
