CEATEC electronic shows open in Chiba

CHIBA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co. exhibits the robot car ''EPORO,'' which is equipped with a collision-avoiding system and remote-controlling battery charger, at the information technology and electronics fair CEATEC Japan 2010 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, east of Tokyo, on Oct. 5, 2010. A total of 616 companies and groups, including 196 from overseas, have registered to exhibit their products and technologies in 2,255 booths at the five-day show.
