(1)Mitsubishi Fuso to recall vehicles with defective hubs

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. President Wilfried Porth (C) bows in apology when he announces at a press conference at the transport ministry in Tokyo on March 11 that the company will recall some of its large vehicles following about 50 accidents, including a fatal one, in which their wheels came off while running. The company had claimed the vehicles had no structural defects and that the accidents were a result of improper maintenance by users.
