Online brokers Monex, Nikko Beans to integrate operations

TOKYO, Japan - Online securities company Monex Inc. President Oki Matsumoto (L) and Nikko Beans Inc. President Mproyuki Ogasawara pose at a press conference March 19 after announcing a basic agreement to integrate their business operations under a holding company. The two brokerage houses said they are considering a full merger possibly in 2005.
