Man admits to smuggling drugs into Japan by U.S. military mail

YOKOHAMA, Japan - One of two American men arrested by Japanese police has admitted to smuggling illegal drugs (shown in photo) into Japan using the U.S. military mail service, investigative sources said Aug. 6. The confession was made by Babe Cole, who works for the U.S. Navy base in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, to the Kanagawa police. The other suspect, William Jenkins, a former base employee, has denied the allegation, they said.
