Mazda gets OK to road-test hydrogen-powered vehicle

HIROSHIMA, Japan - An official of Mazda Motor Corp. sits beside a hydrogen-fueled, rotary-engine version of Mazda RX-8 sports car in Hiroshima on Oct. 27. The company said it has received government permission to road-test the car that features a dual-fuel system that allows the driver to select hydrogen or gasoline with the flick of a switch.

Parts maker unveils key component for fuel-cell car
