Parts maker unveils key component for fuel-cell car

NAGOYA, Japan - Officials of Aichi Steel Corp. brief the press on a newly developed stainless steel material for use as components in the hydrogen-powered vehicle "Mirai" (future) produced by Toyota Motor Corp., the world's first commercial fuel cell model, in Nagoya, central Japan, on Dec. 16, 2014. Aichi is one of the three parts manufacturers that unveiled newly developed key components for the vehicle the day after it was put on sale on Dec. 15.
