Renewed museum of New York Yankees Matsui to open in Ishikawa Pref.
NOMI, Japan - A museum devoted to New York Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui is reopened to the media after renovations on Dec. 5 in Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture, where he is from. The Hideki Matsui baseball museum, established in 1994, was remodeled and moved to a place closer to his parent's home at a cost of about 500 million yen. It opens to the public on Dec. 8.
