Nomo agrees to minor league deal with White Sox

TUCSON, United States - Japanese right-hander Hideo Nomo (in file photo) has agreed to terms on a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox, Director of Player Development Dave Wilder said on March 1. Nomo, 37, is expected to report to Triple-A Charlotte next week after the White Sox announce the deal in the next few days, Wilder said.
